Any way, president has decided to extend the quarantine:

However, I believe that the task force did not address the key point.
The key point is not to slow down its spread, but to protect the
elderly and the frail. As long as the hospitalization does not exceed
the health care system capacity, there is no point to make the spread
too slow.
The objective of policy should be to get the whole society back to
normal as soon as possible while keeping total death count low.
According the death rate table(Covid-19 is almost riskless for healthy
young), the task force should emphasize the key point - the elderly
and the frail should be isolated from the rest of their families and
the general quarantine is not necessary.
According to NewYork times(

), at present, 21% of NewYorkers has been infected. That's one in
every five. And to achieve herd immunity, seems 70% is need for a
metropolitan area.
New York City's population is 8.4M, 21% is 1.7M while the number of
confirmed cases is only 145K, death 11267, overall death rate 0.6%.

Let's tell people that it is OK to be infected with Covid-19 if you
are healthy and if you are young, though you should keep distance from
your grandparents and from anyone who is sick in your family.
