Hi, as previously suggested in my other post, it would be to your advantage as employer to keep records of your employees in black and white. This is the so called 201 file. It contains memos and warnings of your employees' misdemeanor and violations of company policies.
Should they sue the company in the future, these records may be used to justify the termination the employee from work. Or at least, these record may be used to lower their demand from the company when presented before the arbiter.
Of course, if the claim is unreasonable and the sum is huge, you need to be represented by a labor lawyer.
